Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a simple Japanese energy-balancing method that is used by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. It is most well known as a hands-on treatment technique and many people have regular Reiki treatments.
Reiki was developed by a man called Mikao Usui in the early 1900s in Japan and people use Reiki for self-healing, for spiritual- or self-development, and to treat others. Reiki practitioners carry out meditations, treat themselves and others, and follow a set of simple spiritual principles called the Reiki precepts. Reiki is not a religion.
WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO
I’ve been a professional Reiki Practitioner since 2006 and a Reiki Master since 2020. I’m a passionate healer with an alternative approach and am dedicated to helping my clients move through a wide range of physical, emotional, and spiritual transitions in the most efficient and transformative way possible.
I am trained in the traditional lineage of Mikao Usui, but I mainly practice as a free Reiki Master.
My treatments are specifically tailored to the needs of each client to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them. Time and again I have seen the incredible healing power of my treatments. Please contact me to find out more.
INTO THE BALANCE
Anyone can benefit from a course of Reiki treatments, no matter what your age or your state of health is. The beneficial changes can take place over a fairly short space of time. Reiki can lead to:
Deep relaxation, heat from the practitioner’s hands, perhaps tingling, a feeling of floating it varies a lot from one person to another. But no matter what you feel during your treatment, Reiki is giving you what you need.
A Reiki treatment can bring a sense of inner calm and peacefulness and may produce some physical benefits too. Your calmness can lead to lower blood pressure, lower heart rate which can benefit your overall health and wellness.
The effects of Reiki build up cumulatively, and having a course of treatments helps to produce long-term beneficial changes on many levels both physically and mentally
THE REIKI PRINCIPLES

Just for today I will not be angry.
Just for today I will do my work honestly.
Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings.
Just for today I will be kind to my neighbour, myself and every living thing

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
You don't need to specially prepare for your first treatment. We only ask from you to be open-minded to the treatment and enjoy the time that you made for yourself.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
Everybody has different experiences during the sessions. Some feel tinglings, cold, heat and some feel nothing. Some people get emotional, and some people fall asleep during the session. Everything is good and if you don't feel well during the session we are there to support you. The Reiki will go where it is needed most and help you heal where you need it most. Sometimes you still feel sensations or are things happening days or weeks after a session.
DO YOU HELP TREAT TERMINAL OR CHRONIC ILLNESS?
Reiki is complementary care. We are no doctors and we always advise you to keep on seeing a doctor or therapist for your diseases. The Reiki energy can support your healing, comfort pain, and make you calmer. When people are in the last part of their lives, reiki can support the patient and their family during this difficult time and have a good last period and transition to the next stage.
SHOULD I STILL SEE MY MEDICAL DOCTOR OR THERAPIST WHEN I AM GETTING A REIKI SESSION?
Reiki is NOT a substitute for medical treatment. If you have any symptoms of illness, you should see a doctor.
Reiki is safe and will complement any form of complementary or medical treatment
A Reiki practitioner will not diagnose or recommend any form of treatment
